Identifikasi Kebutuhan Tenaga Ahli Konstruksi Di Kota Palu

Abstract

As the capital of Central Sulawesi Province, Palu City is in dire need of experienced construction workers. The rehabilitation and reconstruction programs for housing, road infrastructure, drainage, public facilities, and settlement revitalization following the 2018 earthquake and tsunami require a large workforce, but also certified experts capable of ensuring quality, safety, and resilience to future disaster risks. The need for experts for recovery and sustainable development is a strategic priority when addressing post-disaster recovery and long-term development agendas. This study aims to identify the need for construction experts in Palu City. Data, including the number and type of construction and consulting work for the 2023 fiscal year, were obtained from the Palu City LPSE and the Tadulako University LPSE. Descriptive statistics were used for data processing. The results indicate that the need for construction experts in Palu City in 2023 is 150 experts, consisting of 82 experts for construction services and 68 experts for consulting services.
